Anonymous, The Retreat Caer Las Swansea for Comic Relief

The Castle ward area in Swansea is ranked as one of the most deprived in Wales. Local agencies have found young people are being sexually exploited and becoming involved in sex work as a way of funding their drug habits, getting food or a bed for the night. Caer Las delivers The Retreat project which supports 16-25 year olds sex working or at risk of sexual exploitation. The project provides information, advice and support to these vulnerable young people and works with other support agencies to ensure they access the services they need to help them leave sex working behind.
